Tracks Owned by NASCAR

[edit]

After it purchased ISC in 2019, NASCAR became the owner of International Speedway Corporation's tracks. Should a chart be added to this page, or should a separate page be made on Tracks Owned by NASCAR? Glman99 (talk) 19:25, 13 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Name change to "National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing"

[edit]

Reason: To reflect the full and official name of the organization, ensuring greater accuracy and clarity for readers. The acronym "NASCAR" may not immediately convey its meaning to those unfamiliar with the sport, especially international audiences. By using the full name, the title would align with Wikipedia's standards for descriptive and precise article titles, while also providing context about the organization's focus on stock car auto racing.
